I accidentally bought semi sweet choc instead of unsweetened. The recipe for brownies calls for 4 oz. unsweete?

The recipe calls for 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate. I got semi sweet instead. It calls for 2 cups of sugar how much should I reduce the sugar to make it work?

I wouldn’t. Just use the chocolate you got. It may not even have any adverse effects on the recipe. The difference is cocoa percentage, and milk-fat percentage.
