How can I convert Raw Sugar to White Sugar?

I have Raw Sugar that looks like it is in its crystal form. And it is still brownish looking. And I would like to make it into normal white sugar. Should I put it in a blender or food processor? Or how to use it. I am trying to make a cake. (Banana Cake.) Or How do I use is it in place of white Sugar? How can I use it. This is the recipe I am using. http://www.food.com/recipe/best-ever-banana-cake-with-cream-cheese-frosting-67256 I could really use the help.Thanks.

You cannot convert it into white sugar. That requires a complicated chemical process to achieve. You can use it in place of white sugar.
